ANZAC Day is shaping up to be our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it’s an important one for the whole club — juniors and seniors alike.
This event is more than just a one‑day fundraiser. It marks the start of a broader fundraising effort with a clear and practical goal: helping reduce hockey playing fees in the coming years. Every dollar raised goes back into supporting our members, easing costs for families, and keeping our club strong and accessible.
Like many community hockey clubs, we rely heavily on volunteers — and finding enough hands is always our biggest challenge. These events only work when people chip in. Whether it’s helping before or on the day, spreading the word, selling raffle tickets, or simply bringing along friends and family, every contribution counts.
The fundraiser will be held at the Horse & Jockey Pub on ANZAC Day, giving us a great opportunity to bring together remembrance, community, and club spirit in one strong day.
This is a genuine call to action. If you’re able to help — or know someone who can — now is the time to put your hand up. Let’s make this a standout event for our hockey club and set ourselves up better for future seasons. Reach out to the Social Committee that is organising the roster.
Thanks again for the energy, ideas, and support you bring to the club — it really does make a difference.
